~Unforgettable~
Unforgettable some things, even though we wish
with all our might that we could make them
disappear out of our books of memories.
Beautiful times, so sweet, rose scented, so
special the times, it seems impossible for them
to have slipped away until there is nothing
in their places but one last thorn.
A Broken twig off a once beautiful cluster of a
red bouquet, sent and signed with love. What
happened to the messenger. Did they just fade
away. Did they wonder when the next time the
season, or reason for giving the gift of the
fragrant flowers came by, that the emptiness
of the silence of the gift not received was
such a loud and harsh statement, no words need said.
Silence of lost loves. Angry and ugly are the
goodbyes that were never said, left forever open
a wound that cannot close. Gutted and left to die
like a pig ready for a beach bonfire.
Bleeding forever inside.
Unforgettable.
